On an earlier occasion I visited the gathering in Michael Siegrist’s workshop in Saarland, Germany. He enjoys collecting anvils, and I took a picture of a few of them.

The difference between the North German and South German anvils is primarily how the horn transitions into the body. On the South German anvil above the horn blends into the body. On North German anvils the horn starts at a shoulder.
